Introduction Shibadai Jingu shrine has enshrined Ise Grand Shrine's two principal deities, Amaterasu-Omikami (the sun goddess) and Toyoukeno-Okami (god of agriculture and industry) since 1005. This shrine is often referred to as "Kanto-no O-Ise Sama" (Ise Jingu shrine of Tokyo), and visited by a great number of people.

Shibadai Jingu has a special wedding ceremony, which is very popular among couples from all over Japan and all over the world. This style is named "Bonfire Ceremony" held in the solemn low light at night. In the ceremony site with some bonfire lit, couples swear eternal love. This ceremony style is available between the middle of November to the end of February every year, and only one couple a day is allowed.

Shibadai Jinugu is in the central Tokyo Metropolitan area, but it is very rich in nature. You can feel the scenery change from season to season, and enjoy the beauty of the four seasons of Japan, such as spring cherry blossoms in full bloom, summer fresh green leaves of the trees, autumn bright red leaves, and the cold clear winter air.

Your eternal love will be gorgeously blessed in the great ceremony in this traditional 1000-year-old shrine.
